Welcome to Betty's Club - Where people living with dementia and their families Can Thrive

At Betty’s Club, we believe dementia does not define a person. Everyone has their own story, interests and strengths.

Our friendly community provides opportunities for people to enjoy meaningful activities, build friendships and continue doing the things they love.

Above all, we focus on the person, not the diagnosis.

Betty's Members Conversation

A good life means having strong, positive relationships, a sense of purpose and meaning with physical and mental wellbeing.

Even in dementia, good mental wellbeing is possible.

Living with Dementia asks that we stay connected with loved ones, engaging in meaningful activities, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Ultimately, a good life with dementia is about adapting and finding joy in the present, while also planning for the future.

Supporting Families and Carers

Caring for someone with dementia can sometimes feel overwhelming. However, families do not have to face the journey alone.

Betty’s Club provides information, workshops and opportunities for carers to meet others who understand their experiences.

Together, we help families feel supported, informed and connected.

Our Community & Values

Building Connection Through Our WITH Values

Our WITH values — Wellbeing, Involvement, Thoughtfulness and Hope — guide everything we do.

Through these values, we create a welcoming environment where members, carers and volunteers feel respected and included.

We support carers to connect, learn, and share their experiences, while mentoring volunteers to become confident, skilled facilitators of compassionate, relationship-based dementia care.

Learning Workshops - Real Stories, Real Impact
