Louise is our indispensable administrator. Nothing would happen at Betty’s Club without her thoughtful management and support.

Betty's Volunteer - Louise Swallow

Volunteer

Lou is an experienced interior designer. She cared for her father who had Alzheimer’s disease until his death and helps us with our relational care and life story gathering. 

Betty's Volunteer - Marie Cressy

Marie is an experienced, trained nurse and specialises in dementia care. She facilitates our singing group with fun and finesse.

Betty's Volunteer - Jill Catmull

Jill is an experienced creative arts specialist, teaches drama with Creative Arts East and helps us with our arts projects.

Jackie Sandford

Jackie has cared for her mother with dementia for eight years. She supports us at our events and helps raise money for the charity

Jane Macnamara

Jane runs international lecture tours for travellers interested in the arts and history and assists us with our events

Chris Baxter

Chris is a practicing artist and has experience of caring for older people. She facilitates our art club.

Karen is a crafter and has many years’ experience as a volunteer working with older people with dementia. She helps facilitate our art club.

Doug is part of our essential gardening team, helping shape Betty’s Club’s sensory outdoor space into a joyful, green place for connection and wellbeing.

Patrick is also part of our wonderful gardening team, bringing his care and creativity to the Betty’s Club’s garden as a welcoming, natural space.
