Volunteer for Betty's
Make a difference — simply by being you
At Betty’s Club, we’re not just helping members to manage dementia. We’re making room for life to be lived well.
Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. By giving a little time, you help create a warm, welcoming space where people living with dementia and their carers feel valued, connected and understood.
You don’t need experience. You don’t need special skills. You just need to be kind, curious and open to connection.
Why volunteer with us?
Volunteering at Betty’s Club is about people — not tasks.
You’ll be part of a supportive community where relationships matter more than routines, listening matters more than “fixing”, and everyone is valued for who they are.
Our volunteers often tell us they gain as much as they give, from meaningful connections to greater confidence, understanding and a renewed sense of purpose.
From Our Volunteers..
“It’s good to feel part of such a great charity and community. I always leave feeling more connected and positive.”

“The coffee morning was a revelation! I never expected such a wonderfully happy and relaxed atmosphere.”

What volunteering looks like
Our volunteers help create space for life to be lived — listening first, being alongside people living with dementia and their carers, and building a community rooted in dignity and belonging.
Volunteering is flexible and shaped around you.
You might spend time chatting, supporting activities, helping create a calm and welcoming environment, or simply being an extra friendly face.
We’ll work with you to find what feels right.
